BARF Diet for cats

Your cat isn't like a dog. And certainly not like you. Go back to feeding your cat the way nature intended. Our BARF diet menus for cats are designed to fully and balancedly cover your feline's nutritional needs while respecting its carnivorous nature.

A diet based on what a cat needs, and nothing more

Our menus consist of fresh meat and fish (50%), finely ground raw meaty bones (20%), heart rich in natural taurine (15%), 10% organ meats with at least 5% liver, and a small percentage of fruits and vegetables (5%) for fiber only. This combination is no coincidence: it responds to your cat's biology and allows for all essential nutrients without the need for chemicals or external multivitamins. The result is a balanced and complete diet tailored to your cat's true needs.

Why choose CRU's BARF menus?

  • Adapted to their feline biology: Cats are strict carnivores. They require real animal protein, natural taurine, quality fats, and few carbohydrates. Our menus respect this innate need.
  • Superior Quality Ingredients: We use only fresh meats and offal from controlled sources, with no additives, artificial preservatives, or by-products.
  • Balanced formulation: Each recipe is created by specialists to ensure the correct intake of proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, and essential amino acids such as taurine.
  • Natural variety: We offer combinations such as chicken, beef, rabbit or fish (anchovy), designed to respect your instinctive preferences and provide nutritional diversity.

We are not what we think. Nor do we want to seem like it.

Many foods are designed to please you: attractive colors, artificial flavors, nutritional claims that sound good. We work to satisfy the person who truly matters: your cat . And what they need isn't marketing. It's real food .

Our meals contain no preservatives or artificial additives. They don't mask flavors or odors. They don't contain flours or vegetable fillers. Only meat, organs, bones, and just the right amount of functional vegetables to take care of your intestinal transit.

What will you notice when he starts eating well?

Although cats are discreet, their bodies speak volumes when they're well-fed. You'll notice a shinier, softer coat, smaller, less odorous stools, more energy and playfulness, improved natural behavior, and less urinary discomfort thanks to a high-moisture diet. And, above all, a vitality that shines again in their eyes .

Easy-to-serve menus, designed for your instinct

We chop, mix, and freeze in ready-to-serve portions. Just thaw in the refrigerator and serve at room temperature. No need to add anything. No extras, no hassle.

Our menus are suitable for cats of all ages: from growing kittens to seniors with specific needs. If this is your first time trying a BARF diet with your cat, we recommend offering variety from day one and observing which proteins appeal to them most. We use easy-to-digest meats like chicken, turkey, or rabbit, ideal for starting out without overloading their system.

How to transition cats from dry food to a BARF diet

Unlike dogs, cats are neophobic animals: they tend to reject new things. Therefore, the change must be made strategically. When we introduce new flavors gradually, they may end up rejecting future proteins. Therefore, we recommend making the change suddenly, with variety from the beginning, and for this, our tasting menu pack is ideal. It's best to defrost only a quarter of each menu and offer it in different ways: alternate flavors with each meal, serve several at once without mixing them on the same plate, or give one and take it away to try another.

If your cat accepts wet food but struggles with raw food, you can lightly toss our menus in the pan to release more aroma. Cook them a little less each day until you can safely offer them raw. The transition should be gradual, but tailored to your cat's pace. Some make it in a couple of weeks, while others take a couple of months.

Our recommendation is: during the first week, start by mixing a small amount of wet food with your dog's usual diet, gradually increasing the proportion of wet food while simultaneously reducing the proportion of dry food until you completely replace the dry food. Once your dog is eating only wet food, repeat the same process but with BARF meals, gradually replacing the wet food until 100% of their diet is RAW meals.

Important: Serve the food and let it sit for 30 minutes. If they don't eat it, remove the bowl without insisting. Habits are built with patience.
