CRU is a complete and balanced food specifically designed for the needs of your dog or cat, so you don't need to supplement. However, if you're feeling adventurous, you can easily add high-nutritional-value supplements for your furry friend. In this recipe, we recommend spirulina, which is part of the superfood group and contains tons of protein, is rich in omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, and GLA. It also contains chlorophyll, which is an ally in cleansing the body of air pollution, and sulfolipids that protect against viral diseases.
Ingredients
- CRU Chicken Menu (lean chicken meat and chicken carcass, chicken liver, carrot, zucchini, apple, beetroot, spinach and olive oil).
- CRU Rabbit Menu (lean meat, rabbit offal and bone, carrot, zucchini, apple and coconut)
- A teaspoon of spirulina (or our COCO + spirulina supplement)
What are the doses of pure spirulina?
- Small dogs: 1 g daily mixed with CRU
- Medium dogs: 1.5 g daily mixed with CRU
- Large dogs: 2 g daily mixed with CRU
- Cats: 0.5 g daily mixed with CRU
CAUTION! These amounts are general for all furry friends and are safe to consume daily, but spirulina is a nutrient-dense supplement that can cause diarrhea if consumed in large quantities. If you notice your furry friend's stools are becoming very loose, reduce the amount.
