Can cats eat ice cream?
Not the conventional kind. Human ice creams often contain milk, sugars, or artificial sweeteners, all of which can cause digestive problems or be toxic to cats. That's why at CRU, we've created ice creams that aren't desserts, but rather small allies for their health : they contain only meat, vegetables, and water. Nothing else.
If our natural broths help maintain hydration in winter, our ice creams perform the same function in summer, but with an added bonus: their cold format is ideal for stimulating your cat's interest and encouraging them to drink more water. They're perfect for serving alone or combined with their regular food.
How often can you give cats ice cream?
They can be fed every day, as a healthy snack or as part of their daily diet. They're especially useful for cats who drink little or tend to suffer from urinary problems, as their light and tasty composition encourages increased fluid intake. In the end, you're just giving them "enriched water" that hydrates and refreshes.
Flavors designed for them too
Although they share recipes with our dog ice creams, the flavors we've chosen are perfectly suitable and appealing to cats:
- Pumpkin with carrot : soft, digestive and rich in fiber.
- Beef liver with beetroot : intense, nutritious and delicious.
Both options are made without ultra-processed foods, preservatives, or additives. Only high-quality, functional ingredients designed to support your feline's well-being on the hottest days.
CRU, also in summer
At CRU, we focus on pet health year-round. That's why, even when temperatures rise, we continue to offer natural alternatives that complement their diet in a safe, tasty, and tailored way. Our ice creams aren't a whim: they're just another way to give your cat the care they deserve.
