How to complement your furry friend's CRU meal

At CRU, we work to ensure that our BARF menus for dogs and BARF menus for cats are complete and balanced. This means you don't need to add anything else: your furry friend has all the nutrients they need to be healthy and happy.

Still, we know that sometimes you want to surprise them and give them a little extra nutritional value. Today we bring you a simple recipe to complement their dish with eggs and chia.

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken BARF Menu (lean chicken meat and chicken carcass, chicken liver, carrot, zucchini, apple, beetroot, spinach and olive oil).

  • 1 Rabbit BARF Menu (lean meat, rabbit offal and bone, carrot, zucchini, apple and coconut).

  • 1 ECO egg.

  • 1 teaspoon of chia.

Preparation

  1. Unfreezes CRU menus.

  2. Add the egg. If you use organic eggs, you can grind the egg and its shell for a greater calcium content.

  3. Mix the chia with a teaspoon of water, add to the dish and CRU and mix well.

  4. Serve and watch your furry friend enjoy it!

    • Lean meat, bones and organ meats : source of high-quality protein, healthy fats, essential vitamins and minerals.

    • Fleshy bones : provide calcium and help maintain stronger, cleaner teeth.

    • Fruits and vegetables : fiber, phytonutrients, and antioxidants that strengthen your immune system.

    • Chia : Rich in Omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid), ideal for healthy skin and coat. It also helps satiate hungry dogs.

    • Egg : a high-biological-value protein, with vitamins and minerals. As a reference, one egg a week for small and medium-sized dogs, or two for large dogs, is a good amount.
